Resiliency

We empower all survivors to become even more resilient individuals through offering:

  • Sexual assault support groups

  • Referrals to mental health providers 

  • Dialectical behavioral therapy

  • Individual therapy

Clothes Donation

Intervention

 In addition to the above services we provide the following intervention services: 

  • Rent/Mortgage Assistance ​

  • A 4 to 1 matched savings program to work toward financial independence and self-sufficiency. 

  • Relocation Assistance 


 

ARISE Mural

Safe house

  • ARISE operates a low barrier, pet-friendly emergency safe house for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their dependent children

    • ​Rooms are generally private as well as individual bathrooms to ensure privacy and security.

  • Emergency hotel stays when the shelter is full or alternative sheltering options are needed

  • Meals for safe house residents, linens and other residential necessities regardless of gender or gender identity

  • Transitional Housing Longer-term residency option for survivors making 80% or less of the area median income.

Education

  • Strategically engage with community partners in outreach and education efforts to instruct community and system-based organizations on our programs, and provide opportunities for social change regarding violence.

  • Offer outreach events, seminars, educational opportunities and prevention programming.

Advocacy

Crisis intervention through our 24-hour crisis line. Call 970-668-3906 to get help! 

We advocate and support ALL survivors through:​

  • Medical forensic examinations

  • Accompaniment in legal proceedings

  • ​Protection Order Modifications​


Alongside our advocacy, we provide contracted attorneys to: 

  • represent victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in protection order hearings and U-Visa applications.

  • provide limited legal representation to victims

  • provide information on matters such as divorce and child custody
